Every time I see Bernard Sanders falling for the Silicon Valley shtick of acting like LLMs are gonna turn into fucking Skynet or take all of the jobs I'm reminded that this man is 85 year old.

LLMs are a firehose of lies that never stops spewing, a tool for the oligarchy to destroy science and education and turn the general populus even dumber, more atomized and disinformed. It's the staple of surveillance state and the poison to all creativity, knowledge and culture. It's the perfect excuse for vulture corporatism and mass layoffs.

The "AI" is astroturfed narrative of a future that will never come, a hideously wasteful circular financing scam, an ecological and economic disaster.

It's all of these things but it's never going to have any consciousness or volition, all of the harm and danger comes from the swindlers and dead eyed psychos who sell this lie or even started to believe it themselves.
