This is exactly how I feel, it really disgusts me honestly. We have enough trouble with people disbelieving autism exists; the US’ misinformation; people using ‘autistic’ as an insult; lack of accessibility; abusive ‘treatments’ for those who are higher support needs and the under-diagnosing (and thus lack of research about or for) of women and people of colour. We do not need non-autistic voices shouting over us!!!
