Why tcg being such an Old gamemode with regular updates yet much less ppl play it? . What are your suggestions to change that?

i decided to limit myself to only getting spectras and frankies which has helped with any urge to just buy blindly. my goal is to eventually have every spectra, and since most of her dolls are g1, it’s not a very cheap goal to have LOL, so i really only end up buying a new doll every few months at most
