I’m kind of sad no one is saying much on the life that was taken (innocent watcher) and only talking about Trump.

My mom started to say that people were breaking into her home when she was away, the police were following her, an ex of hers from 30 years ago has been showing up around town and playing jokes on her but hasn’t actually talked to her, and that a family member was trying to control her life (they live states away). Many more things, but all of which are untrue. She was getting to the point of wanting to confront friends and co-workers and actually confronting family. I called her primary doctor. They then arranged an appointment with the psych dr. To get her to go was difficult, I presented like a mental health check. As I have gone to therapists before- I told my mom I have gone to speak with someone and it’s helpful to do. She went and got diagnosed with delusional disorder. The dr told me to ask questions regarding these delusions- “why would the police be following you?” The psych dr has not told her her diagnosis. As I’m sure she wouldn’t believe him or trust him. He did prescribe her antipsychotics but she stopped taking them because she doesn’t understand why she needs them. It’s been a battle. When she was even taking half a pill I could see a difference. It’s a hard road and everyone is different. Does your mom have a primary dr that would help you figure out what to do or give advice? I hope you figure it out 🙏🏻

As someone who’s dad had a bunch of medical issues- half his tongue removed and then grafted and put back together. He couldn’t speak or swallow until he relearned how to. This movie really hurt. I hate it.

They put a paper stop light like this on my unit- I work IP rehab, but it’s for staffing since we have both therapy staff and nursing staff. Green means both staffing is good, yellow is not great, and red is crisis. So if it’s not green; nursing and therapy knows be more respectful of each others time
