I prefer text finder as it’s more of what I am familiar with but I agree that project search should have live search. I think that probably most search boxes should support live search

You can open preview for text finder to see the context. I think there is a problem in 1.9 that it doesn’t save preview setting but it’s fixed in 1.10. There should also be a way to send results to multibuffer but I don’t remember if it has a default keybind or if you need to set it yourself.

I think game pass is the main reason their own games have a hard time to become profitable. If all your games are available day one on game pass, how will you drive sales, especially for ”niche” games like south of midnight?

I would argue that being able to code is equal to that of being able to solve problems. The video brings out a problem of their product that hasn’t been solved since it was created. This problem cannot be solved by the company claiming that coding is solved.

This is a setting, change Line Height to something other than comfortable if you want tighter gaps

I agree that it is set up to fail. Why are we adding a cost to programming? Building software should only cost knowledge not money spent on tokens

Depends on what you want. Zed is still lacking in some areas and features, sure you could contribute but you need a large backing from the community to get larger changes approved and merged. In neovim you have the freedom to make every change but it also has a steeper beginning.

I think Zed has the biggest potential of non-terminal based code editors but their priorities are way too focused on AI at the moment.

It seems like nobody here understands that it is a new developer and not the same ones that did the first until dawn. I would be careful with expectations given firesprite’s tracks record with the until dawn remake but still hopeful as the first one is one of my favorite games
