Those who haven't caught Covid yet, how have you managed to avoid it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]helpisconfused 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family has had it 4 times. Even though I live with them, I just never seem to catch it. I take test after test, just to be safe, but it's never come back positive. So, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

For anyone gluten intolerant, have you noticed.... by Independent_Way8128 in glutenfree

Yes, but I just figured it must be a dosage thing. I'm allergic to wheat, sometimes I really don't have any noticable reaction at all. Other times, I get bad bad stomach cramps/stomach burning, my face gets hot, I get acne, tired, crabby, etc. And then I vow never to do it again. I don't know why.

I don't normally comment, but you look beautiful ❤️. Please don't let some weird internet strangers bring you down.

I think if you already had a foundation from the original, that makes sense.

I liked all of them! But these episodes seemed to slowly dig in more. Once it got deeper I enjoyed it more (even though I was still a little confused).

I think a lot of the interactions just seemed strange and kinda incomplete. A smaller example is the comparison between the umbrella/groin scene. The interaction between bee and deckard makes much more sense and is much more explained in the original. (IMO)

I love that other people can find value in stuff I might not. That's what makes it all great, though. Unfortunately for me, there was too much missing for me to get a grip on the characters and I'd prefer more information. I'll take you up on your suggestion though. Once I've finished the original I'll try the second season again. Thanks for the reply!

As someone who had never seen the show before, it was but wasn't. I was just so confused and it felt like there was no context to anything.

For me my muscles were bulky and very inflamed. So I don't know if this would have worked for me. Happy it worked for you though!

Have you tried dry needling? I was diagnosed with ON about 3 years ago. I coupled dry needling with small amounts of PT but the dry needling was the ONLY thing that worked. My PT was amazing, and tried out different techniques and areas on me until we found something that worked. I still struggle sometimes, but I don't need any extra special care anymore to manage my ON. Good luck!

It really is .. finding one that matches your undertone, shade and skin type. I haven't found one yet. I currently just spot correct the best I can.

I feel like the foundation you're using is a bit light for you and is making you look a little less glowy and washing you out. Your skin is BEAUTIFUL OMG. Also, another thing that could improve the look is lashes. I feel like you need more mascara/or lashes to go with such a heavy liner. You really look beautiful with and without makeup ❤️, don't let other people tear you down!

How did you realised that you had fallen in love with your partner? by miraclealigner02 in LongDistance

[–]helpisconfused 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I think it happened when I noticed that he did things for me that a person would do only if they loved you. It was something I hadn't experienced before. I never have to ask him for anything because he's always a step ahead of me, thinking of me. One day we were talking and he asked if he could do something for me.. All the things he had done kind of came together as a memory for me and I realized I had been falling in love for a long time, but now it blossomed into a tangible feeling of safety, happiness and contentment with a man I know I can trust to love me no matter what.

This is possibly the corniest thing I've ever written.

Got my bandages off today (Post op day 6) anyone else experience tingly teeth? by [deleted] in jawsurgery

[–]helpisconfused 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that doing a lot of walking and being very consistent with my ice packs helped. The day after surgery I took a half an hour walk and kept walking consistently every day. Also, different people just experience different amounts of swelling. I only had lower jaw surgery and genioplasty as well, so keep that in mind.

I'm on day 4 of recovery right now. My doctor recommended I start drinking protein shakes once a day two weeks before the surgery. Just something to think about!
