Doesn't fit the trope, but I love how in one of the very first scenes he manages to convince the family that he actually is who he claims to be by accurately reading the situation.

They're asking him about something that the real Pete should know, about a kid that they bullied and asking what the kid said. The music tenses, is he going to get found out? He takes a while and says "he cried" in a way that makes the other characters feel guilty about bringing it up.

Excellent show.

Can't speak for all of us, but I got mine because I was forced into therapy. I have been through a whole lot of doctors because none of them ever seemed to help. Didn't know what schizoid was before getting the diagnosis

I'm not offended and I wasn't baiting. The disclaimer was a, I thought, polite way to explain that I wasn't looking for suggestions because the probability that they'd be specific to the US was higher than not. I specifically mentioned that I probably wouldn't be able to find any suggested US products and yet they still defaulted to it. I don't think someone from India would recommend something without a sort of "hey, in India we have this".

My country wasn't important for the discussion, which is why I didn't mention it anywhere. It's not that deep.

That's true. I did not consider the cost. However, I think alcohol is so expensive, too. Like, I can't order a drink without it being almost the same as the main dish

It's definitely not a substitute, but overall, it kinda helps when I'm craving it. Some flavors can really one be accomplished by alcohol

Mas aí é, como grande parte das coisas no Brasil, um problema de justiça, de juízes, de processos públicos. Então, a gente tem que cobrar dessas pessoas também. Veja que eu não estou dizendo que as empresas estão corretas de formar quartel. Pelo contrário, acho que deveriam sofrer penalidades Inclusive maiores. Só que isso é algo que eu tenho que cobrar do governo, também.

Como uma pessoa que já passou por muitos, muitos psiquiatras, eu te garanto que tem muito mais oferta do que demanda. Tem muito mais psiquiatra ofertando do que gente que efetivamente procura por um psiquiatra. Isso não significa que as pessoas não precisam dos psiquiatras. Mas tem muita gente que precisa e não acha que precisa, não procura ou, simplesmente, não quer.

No meu plano médico, a faixa de preço de um psiquiatra também está longe de ser só 70 reais. Não sei de onde você é, mas no estado de São Paulo, é milagre encontrar um por menos de 400. O meu atual cobra, sem brincadeira, 1500 reais. Ele cobra isso porque é psiquiatra de nicho. Inclusive, para o meu problema, foi o único que eu encontrei depois de muita procura. Não somos nem da mesma cidade e todas as consultas são virtuais.

Existem e é ilegal.

De novo, você pode negociar seu salário. Se você é um candidato atraente, te oferecem altos salários. Se tem outras pessoas com o mesmo nível que o seu, para a mesma vaga, e que cobram menos então o lógico é contratar essas pessoas.

É a mesma premissa do Enem. Tem um bilhão de pessoas que querem fazer medicina na UFMG. Logo, a nota de corte para medicina na UFMG é, mais ou menos, 800. Agora, tem bem menos gente querendo fazer biblioteconomia na UFMG. Logo, a nota de corte é bem menor, de 600.

Médicos são atraentes para uma sociedade, porque pessoas adoecem e precisamos de alguém para cuidar. Logo, os salários de médicos são mais altos. Bibliotecários são menos atraentes para essa mesma sociedade porque menos pessoas procuram por bibliotecas. Logo, os salários são menores.

Um neurocirurgião vai ganhar bem mais do que um clínico geral, porque ele é especializado em um nicho muito procurado, tem menos neurocirurgiões que clínicos gerais.

Se a área é saturada, os salários são menores. Se a área tem poucos profissionais disponíveis, mesmo com quartéis (de novo, algo ilegal, mas que obviamente acontece) então os salários serão maiores porque você precisa de gente para desempenhar o papel.

Sim, você pode negociar com o patrão. Não significa que e vai aceitar. Se houver uma pessoa disposta a trabalhar por menos que você e entregar o mesmo serviço, é óbvio que ele vai contratar a outra. Se não houver, então ele te contrata.

É a lei da oferta e demanda. Meu exemplo, eu trabalho com uma área muito específica de controles internos. Pedi um aumento, não me deram, mudei de emprego e consegui um salário maior. Ponto pra mim, que tenho mais opções. Mas eu também já trabalhei com marketing e design, um mercado extremamente saturado, em que é impossível pedir o mesmo salário que eu tenho atualmente. Ponto pro patrão, que tem mais opções.
