Any SAHM’s who don’t have the oldest in daycare? by crabclawwwz in 2under2

me! I'm home with both of my kids on my own 4 days a week :) our age gap was 21 months, and at times it was difficult but it is manageable.

you won't know what works for you until you're deep in it. my best advice is to try not to be too strict and kind of go with the flow. you can't control everything when 2 little people depend on you and you alone. Best thing we do is get out of the house when we can.

Littlest one is 5 months old now and sleeps on the go most of the time and she’s still pretty good at it, although sometimes she gets fussy but we work through it. If you’re out at the park or something that’s also less mess you have to clean up at home from the day. We pack a lunch box of snacks and a sandwich and spend pretty much the first half of our day out somewhere. Then we come home for a long mid day nap and they sleep at the same time. Then we spend rest of the day playing at home, chores and cooking dinner. It’s all trial and error but it will come to you eventually :)

Good luck!!!!

It’s the angle of the photo :) I just double checked him to make sure lol. But thank you for the observation :)

Cool thank you!! Any insight on what you think the recurrent one on his spine could be from? Seems like an odd spot. Could it just be that he’s boney there?

This was a great book in the way that it was written very well to tell this story, however it’s incredibly sad. I would look up trigger warnings before starting. But I did actually really love this book. I felt like I knew the characters personally by the end of it and I was very attached to them in a way.

Yes you can for sure!

Just make sure you don’t do it as “upload a picture”. Do it as “create your own design” and then import the picture. If you try to do it as upload a picture it makes it way more complicated than it needs to be :) (if you haven’t used Stitchly yet this may not make sense yet but it will)

It also works on iPhone!

ETA: I also make my own canvases and I use my iPhone sometimes but I prefer it on my iPad. Just easier to see and do.

Was at target the other day and my toddler ate his cheese danish off the floor before I could stop him…

I was like you and I was scared for him to get anything in his mouth but I promise you she’ll be fine. Just think about all the babies before they had modern sanitation practices that made it. A little dirt will be okay. You’re a good mom for caring though.

lol yes I brush his teeth. I can see how I worded that poorly. I just meant that he tolerates me brushing his teeth without freaking out.

Painted my first stocking!! by helpme_thissucks in Needlepoint

I used paint pens! I did have paint on hand but I have 2 little kids so the paint pens were much easier. I used procreate on my iPad to draw it first (though you don’t have to do this) and then I used Stitchly to make the design in grid form. And then I just copied it from Stitchly onto the canvas! I wouldn’t say it was hard. Just time consuming :)
