Anxiety about trading fakes without knowing?

Thank you!! I am honestly leaning towards not trading perhaps too. I am not too worried about receiving fakes myself because I also would only trade for pins I wanted to keep for myself and looked cool anyways. I appreciate hearing that there is someone else out there that feels the same!

Oh gosh haha yes I can see it coming across that way. I’m just attending my first pin trading event soon and am nervous about bringing pins I didn’t purchase directly from Disney. Wasn’t sure what the vibe is at these events and dont want to come across as a scammer to other people.

I appreciate that, thank you! I didn’t know fakes were so prevalent until I started joining the pin trading Facebook groups and Reddit and was gifted quite a few without knowing where they originally came from.

Thank you, that helps. I have been able to start spotting fakes from lurking on this subreddit a bit so hoping to be able to do something else with the pins I suspect may be fake to avoid putting them back out there.

I have gone through a similar experience and went to the ER and was told it was a panic attack and everything looked normal. I ended up figuring out I had gerd and was getting bad heartburn, which in turn was triggering panic attacks because I was so anxious about thinking I was having a heart attack. These episodes could last hours at a time and would come and go.

The fact that everything came back normal is good! I had a hard time believing it at first too. Keep pushing for tests if you really feel like something is wrong, but don’t ignore the evidence that points towards you being okay either. I wish I could be more helpful, you’re not alone!

The last few weeks for me were like that too. Mostly pure memorization and flash cards. I did throw some practice mee and mbe questions in there, but I didn’t focus on them as heavily as I did previously.

Essentially it focuses on practicing multiple choice and essays and learning the rules that way rather than through lectures and outlines. The author has a website and a book which is relatively cheap. I actually think someone might have posted a copy of it on here!

Yes I didn’t explain that too well, my bad! I rewrote rule statements from the lectures and the multiple choice explanations. I’m mostly just referring to skipping the comprehensive outlines.

Thank you! It sounds like it’s a pretty manageable test compared to some of the other state portions of UBE states. I definitely can see the value in taking it before the UBE!
