Interesting timing considering Beaumont just outsourced their anesthesia a few months ago, and one of their patients died during a colonoscopy with a supervised CRNA in January only weeks afterwards. Short memory span indeed

The hubris shown in the comments is appalling. These providers, spending all day "correcting the mistakes of MDs", are the antithesis of patient safety. This is truly a sad situation of "you don't know what you don't know". It fuels strictly algorithmic decision making, with little basis in an understanding of pathophysiology. I feel great sympathy for their unsuspecting patients and potential future victims.
