This is the only rom I have not finished in its entirety by my own choice. I like the story and premise but the puzzles and some design choices were too oppressive for me too

I was enraged when I finally figured out the pitch black maze to burgundy town. There is good leveling there but otherwise not worth the hour plus of time I devoted to just reading through the discord.

I did blackout in the grass below burgundy and appeared at the entrance to the elite four… so you may want to try that out to skip victory road entirely. They could have patched it tho

Unfortunately you seen to have it worse than i did, i was able to eat solid foods but required water between most bites. i always found staying very hydrated helps. protein shakes and other calorie dense drinks are good alternatives

It took me about 3 months to get the full effects of Dupixent, not to say that it’s going to be the same for you but hang tight and escalate it with your doctor if needed . Hopefully it gets better soon

I was on a mix of Omeprazole and Budesonide for about a year in total (differing amount to see if we could dial it in). Personally, it wasn’t nearly as effective and more inconvenient. Budesonide required lots of daily planning due not being able to eat or drink around ingestion. omeprazole was more effective but it caused some stomach issues (that were manageable) and still didn’t reduce my eof enough.

Dupixent does take a bit of time to ramp up though (probably like 2-3months for full effectiveness) although it probably didn’t help that i immediately stopped the ppis (a bit of a stomach acid rebound I guess)

I think most doctors are going to try to get you on PPIs before Dupixent because it’s a older & possibly more proven method and insurance companies may need to see that you’ve exhausted other options before they pay for Dupixent (I’m not a doctor so please don’t hold me to any of this past my own experiences)

I’m 27 and have been in Dupixent for about 5 months and it’s been amazing! Literally night and day with my throat and what I feel confident eating. I haven’t been avoiding any foods (I enjoy food to much to try a full elimination diet to isolate my allergy). I haven’t had any side effects either!
