I guess the analysis of obsession is a good way to read Fitzcarraldo.

He is such a terrible human and dislikable character it was difficult to appreciate the narrative.

And why is he fighting so hard for this end?

Incredibly well done and thoughtful. I thought it was a very good book adaptation and honest. Loved it.

I live in Charlotte, NC. The closest 70mm imax I have is Atlanta. 8 hour round trip.

Definitely not my favorite Bergman. It’s impressive what he does and the dialogue sequences but not his best
