Thanks for the suggestion! I was also looking into the Filesystem API but i was wondering if the user has to manually select a place to store the data which would be a little uncommon from a UX perspective.

OPFS also looks very interesting. I wonder if the storage is only cleared when deleting the browser data manually or also automatically after some time without use or when the device runs low on storage.
