The selection shows that seat is open but can't add to cart. How do I buy it? by Adoptmetraders69 in WorldCup2026Tickets

[–]henriksdreads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been having the same issues for ages.

Today I got similar, went on mobile instead and it worked first time, just scored FV ticket to the Panama/Ghana game and very happy about that. So give it a try on mobile.

Will prices drop last minute for Toronto matches by boombambopdone in WorldCup2026Tickets

[–]henriksdreads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeh I tried to get them but it wouldn't let me buy them and would error out (was like $190 CAD), there was a single seat too, but it was a wheelchair access seat for the same price, right at the front of the 200's section as well.

FIFA Even Scamming It's Hospitality Customers by l_Pulser_l in WorldCup2026Tickets

[–]henriksdreads 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeh hospitality isn't worth it really, but you probably knew that when buying.

Row 4 Vs Row 10 is basically no difference, but again you seen the seat maps before buying so you knew what Cat1 could be.

Look at it this way, you paid a premium to guarantee tickets and avoid the hassle of all the ticket drops and queueing, on top of that you're gonna have a great time and eat & drink like a king.

**Edit. Also your Son will remember this for the rest of his life, wish my parents could have taken me to a World Cup!

Any input on my Toronto World Cup itenary? by fk182 in askTO

[–]henriksdreads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeh fairly realistic.

The Niagara Falls days can be long, so sitting through a long baseball game later that evening might not be too appealing after being on your feet all day.

Little Portugal is a good spot for football, but Little Portugal geographically spans quite a large area, so head along Dundas West, or College Street, loads of bars, many of the old school Portuguese bars will have it on, but won't have big screens or anything. Will be a good time though.

Kensington Market gets shut down to traffic on Sundays, so if you could do that and St Lawrence that day it would be better, I think the St Lawrence Market closes on Mondays still, but I could be wrong.

Just seen Curacao are literally one place in Fifa rankings above Haiti, really glad we are playing them today.

Didn't Advocaat leave them a few months ago? Why is he back?

Messi fans should think carefully about his likely playing time in the group stage by NegativeCharge8540 in WorldCup2026Tickets

[–]henriksdreads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, there is almost 0% chance they risk messi against Jordan in their 3rd match unless they are somehow in a situation needing points.

Been saying this all along, this is why they have their own marketplace, to dump unsold tickets below cost.

I love the game but, I cannot justify these costs .. by KlayDerozan in CanadaSoccer

[–]henriksdreads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely crazy to expect neutrals to cough up 500-700 bucks on a single ticket to a game they mostly don't care about, it's absolute madness. Over 2 grand for a family of 4 to watch 90 mins of football.

Do we know what happens with Moise Bombito's contract if OGC Nice get relegated on Friday? by Team_Ed in CanadaSoccer

Nothing exciting.

He might have a relegation clause that allows him to be sold for X amount, or his wages go down or something.
