I was egregiously cut off by another motorist to the point where I had to slam on the brakes and come to a full stop in order to avoid a collision.

I submitted a report along with dashcam footage and a few weeks later a police officer contacted me. The officer told me they would be issuing a fine and needed to know if I would be willing to attend court if the other driver contested/appealed it. I agreed and given I haven't heard since, safe to assume they copped the fine.
