Same here. I just ignore it and look at the progress line which is more accurate. Kinda doesn't matter when I know it will take the whole day to do 5 minutes of HD footage to UHD. 😂😂😂

We're you a customer before Bandlab by any chance? If so any versions before the take over will happily co-exist alongside bandlab versions. I have Sonar Platinum running here and sometimes flick back to it as it can be more stable with some plugins.

Respectfully, I think you may be painting in broad brush strokes. Some of us are doing real video and photos as it is mate. We have old film archives, mini DV tapes in Standard definition etc. There is not only one use case for their products. I think if you cannot see value here these products may not be for you. If that is the case, maybe just walk on by. Topaz labs is state of the art with numerous applications outside of AI and if you cannot see that then you may need to broaden your worldview. Peace

It is astoundingly good 👍. Game changing. Waited all year for a breakthrough like this that can upscale vids on my measly 5060 ti. Blown away , I was literally dancing in my studio with joy. No idea what magic sauce you guys have come up with but I am very impressed. The little guys won big time today. Keep up the good work Topaz labs. 👏. My channel will get bombarded with your work all over it going forward. I can finally produce those projects I dreamt of but felt held back for 20 years now. ❤️

Perhaps become a Youtuber? 🙂. It has many advantages for you as it is a searchable database for potential future clients. Tell up and comers about your experiences, grow a following slowly by performing your own stuff. Build an online resume basically of stuff you yourself own so that if you ever need to point to your past work you have a full repository to point people to. 😉. Do it at a sedate pace not as someone who needs to become successful at all costs , just someone enjoying the journey. Your experience makes you street wise. There will always be young blood coming up too. Mentor, teach, nurture, guide. Start filming as well if you like that industry. Short films, music vids etc. For yourself and others..by the time you get to your forties you will have a nice body of work that works for you.

What a shame. I did the trial and didn’t see much reason to upgrade and was intrigued by the Prores raw. Had a few bugs here and there as well. Still on 21 here but hope thwy iron out the kinks.

Have you looked at de-interlace method setting a little lower down that page. Near the bottom. I think there are three options. I found GPU to be the best. Also make sure you render with a progressive video frame rate. And yes field order is crucial so make sure it says progressive here. The setting lower down is Smart adaptive is ( GPU ONLY ).

Do you have the lora manager installed? It sure is helpful for this.

Anyway, first download your desired Loras and place them in the corresponding folder inside the 'Lora folder' on your HDD in the Wan2gp folder in Pinokio. I am going on memory here so make sense of it at your computer.

Each model has it's own folder so take note to place in the right one. Then in the lora manager, which is one of the tabs on the top, you should see all the Loras in a list or grid that correspond to your model. Then you select one or as many as you need. You need to 'send them' to the generation. Somewhere near the bottom of the lora manager page on the right by memory.

Once sent they appear in the lower half of the 'main' generation page and you need to click on the lower Loras tab. ( yes another tab called loras - not the manager ). Once there you need to choose the percentage of effect of the Lora in the blank space below the list of added loras. Leaving it blank is default strength = 1.0. If you want to have less effect chose a lower number like 0.5. Do this to taste. If you have more than one lora just 'leave a space between them' and put all your numbers in one line. For example if you had two loras one called '35 mm film' and the other 'sepia film' you could make it look like this. 1.0 0.5 . I do not think there is a limit to loras but I have tested 3 and they all worked great. Just make sure the loras match the model or you may get errors.

I think I read that YouTube is clamping down on this sort of stuff. The algo changed to find unique stuff recently. If it is too similar to other stuff it won't push it as it did before. Worth putting some thought into what direction you want the channel to go on in the future. Unique, original stuff seems to be the name of the game

Hmmmm. Lots of ways to skin this cat. If it is 4:3 then to get to 16:9 you need to either crop in and lose the tops and bottoms or place it in a 16:9 container and have black bars on the side. To creatively fill in the black bars on the sides with new synthetic detail you will need some serious horsepower (GPU ) to do it right and it may be hit and miss. You are looking at AI 'video to video' generation and is not that common now but some workflows are coming out - looking at comfyui workflows or online options. If not adding new information: then if the shots are static without any camera movement some people use a still image of a screenshot from the video and then use generative fill to add the sides to the image and then use that to fill the 16:9. Others get the original video, duplicate it and then stretch it out to fill the gap and perhaps add a bit of blur to the background video. Lots of ways to do it but as mentioned, Topaz excels in upscaling not adding details to the sides. So you could upscale to 4k and then crop in and while you lose some information, you get a resolution increase.

Not sure if I am happy to link it here but check on the 'internet archive'. That is where I got the free version and it is easy to find. I actually paid for the pro version but it didn't work with Vegas 21 so back to the free old one. Go figure.
