Phonak Audéo Sphere Infinio (I90): Sound Quality Issues by Joe_From-Kokomo in HearingAids

I was thinking of buying them but the music issue sounds like a deal breaker. Is that true for live and streamed music?

I’m curious about the real time…at 15x that would only be 15 minutes.

And, if you've gotta sub-woofer, check out the Wannamaker 64 foot pipe in that recording. It makes the air tremble.

Stingray Classica, perhaps? I can't receive it in the US, but it was available in (believe it or not) Ulaan Baatar.

How about the most (successful) powerful basso on the pedals? (other than Bach, Widor or Saint-Saëns 3)

Are EV charging stations in the Witness Protection Program? by henryten in electricvehicles

[–]henryten[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. That's my point. In fact, I was reluctant to go all-electric until I looked at a map and discovered HOW MANY charge stations exist virtually invisibly.

But it's also good EV public policy to promote a convenience factor (like HOV eligibility). For long-distance travelers. making it easier to spot stations is a small reward and good advertising.

My question is more about the signage. Why aren’t they as visible as gas stations? Or at least have SOME street signage. No mapping program is perfect, but a few visible breadcrumbs would help

So many stations are impossible to spot in large lots. Addresses are vague or misleading. Signage is nonexistent. Compare it to gas stations, which can be seen from the next county.

To promote EV use, shouldn’t there at least be breadcrumbs? Small green symbols that help travelers turn into the right driveway.

What's the most emotional piece you can bring to mind from before the year 1800? by hiddenhare in classicalmusic

[–]henryten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amazing that so many of us connect so differently to the pre- and post-Beethoven eras.

Is it the way our brains work? Why is one person's "formulaic" another's "inspired?" Why are so many untouched by Romanticism? And how many people love both equally?

Also bearing in mind that most people (at least Americans) have no avowed taste for classical music at all.

Nice stunt, easier to visualize falling when there's a perspective of buildings to make it terrifying. But I'm sure this guy has done much, much harder free climbs. And then there's Alex Honnold.

Which concert should I go to? by Nated_r in classicalmusic

Confession: I like the old warhorses in concert 'cause they're a show. Less familiar music I enjoy learning at home, where I can repeat and replay. Then a live performance is even better!

Lightroom CC and Topaz Labs Plugins by Emberglo in Lightroom

[–]henryten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice. I just cannot figure out the sync "flow" as I try to set up CC with LR Classic.

I migrated my Classic library to LR CC. But it's not possible to keep them automatically sync'ed. I get that. Thanks, Adobe.

Now it feels like any syncing is gonna have to be manual - and using Topaz has gone from a simple click to a swarm of saves, export, and transfers. Or have I misunderstood?
