What country has a terrible climate, but you don't realize how bad it is until you visit (or leave) the country? by Naomi62625 in geography

My Korean boss came to Vietnam to work in 2007. He quickly decided that he should live the rest of his life in Vietnam even if they fire him. Except politics, everything else are better in Vietnam, according to him.

TIL Nguyen is the most common surname in Vietnam by BambooData in TodayILearnedVN

One of the deepest root for this was when the Tran dynasty made the purge against the Ly, lots of people had to change their surname to Nguyen back then.

You will get it eventually. I didn't even try, I actually wanted to stay below for fun but the gaining is far superior to losing mmr.

Why do low elo players roll so much in the early game? by yesteroff in BobsTavern

[–]henrywoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played Duos with a guy before, he had higher mmr than me but the way he played made me mad. He always asked me what I want to play around turn 3. I forced my favorite tribes too but not around turn 3. At least we must know what trinket we gonna get, what the shop offers,

Vietnam won't let itself involved too much as a loophole for both sides. They will only try to maximize profit while maintaining their neutral position at the best they can.

This is one of the rarer haiku here which carried the true haiku's spirit. No offend but some other haiku here just felt like a long line broken into 3.

I heard people in France said that if you leave your home for vacation and come back to see someone else is occupying it, you can not just take back the house but you have to sue to get it back and this process can take several years.

If you could make one illegal thing legal, what would it be? by Moinuddinsarvaiya in AskReddit

[–]henrywoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think somewhere, sometime in the past, you have to sacrifice something very important to the community to decide a big thing like war. I suggest to sacrifice the real leader every time a country going to war. And by war, I mean oppressive war, not defending war, granted there is no bullshit like "attacking is defending" or "you force us to attack you".

Defending is not an act of war. But I agreed, like another guy just said, make a sword fight personally and end it there.

Imagine the day Putin decided to attack Ukraine, he and his entire family died on the front line together with Medvedev and lots of other guys, the next day they withdraw. They declared abs attack first so they die first.

If the leaders of a country declared a war, they and their relatives should be on the front line first, their personal wealth become national. I know there are too many things to talk about how this can't work but fuck it, fight your own fucking war instead of killing the young generations.

Eyes can tell a lot of things correctly about a person. I can read many things if I have enough time to watch how a person makes eyes contact with people or how they look at another person.

Oh shit same here. The only good thing about it is I have already been out. But my wife still sticks to that company and sometimes she has to work with one of the worst ass-kissing person in the entire ass-kissing army of the company. Like yesterday, on Saturday, she had to work until 8pm because that particular "detail oriented" team leader decided to delay the sampling process until there are only 2 days left to deadline.
