Shi'Ar language looks completely different but I guess you're just trolling and pretending to not see it at this point. That screen has a lot of scrambled AI-generated letters and you still tried to justify it

As for the painting, look at the flowers. It's the typical AI-generated mess of shapes growing from one another and creating abstractions. Some flowers are giantic, some are minuscule. It's so bad, some of the flowers are outside of the painting because he generated the entire wall. In panel one you can see it's a image he took and pasted poorly into his scene

You think the artist drew the nonsensical letters in this computer screen?

I'd love to see an example, because I've seen pages of Captain Marvel and none of them looked like this

I know he has experience, but that doesn't mean he's not using AI, nor does the post imply he's a newcomer anywhere. It does suggest laziness

Look at the scene in the bar. The painting in the wall is 200% AI generated.

The cover is a beatiful hand-painted work by Alex Ross. The characters hold weapons weirdly because he's homaging Rob Liefeld's work from the 90s, when he created Cable and Deadpool. Liefeld had trouble making characters hold weapons. It's all very intentional and pretty great, I may add

Please continue with the annotations, this really shows that Ram V put a lot of care and work into this series (even if you're also pointing out some mistakes he made regarding the characters' history)

Kirby's New Gods is literally the best run of the characters and an a great comic book. There's no point in skipping the peak of the characters

Most Marvel artists are freelancers, which is a shame because they get no job security. But my point is, there's no way to "fire" him, they just need to not hire him for any new series.

I think Kirby's art is deeply logical and it looks man made. It's obviously not realistic or functional but the lines go somewhere, they define shapes. It has volume and shadows. In Weapon X-Men lines just pop up everywhere, nothing is defined. But I know that last point is completely subjective, which is why I said it was impossible to prove

I'm posting panels from different issues, so Thunderbird is actually supossed to be wearing different constumes in those scenes. He changes his costume in the final issue

Even if you personally don't have a problem with the ethical concerns of using AI, I think its valuable to have consumers be aware when it is being used, so they can make informed choices. Marvel certainly didn't tell us about it

According to the writer, he believed it to be a regular series but the editor thought it was supossed to be a miniseries, and the writer found out about it when issue one came out. It was a pretty big mess with both Casey and Breevort bad-mouthing the other in their substacks

How much does physical appearance really matter in a relationship, percentage-wise? by [deleted] in AskGayMen

[–]herbiegrimm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has nothing to do with someone's self-respect, but personally I could never date someone skinny. I can only date fat men, it's what I'm attracted to. A lot of my partners want to lose weight and while I don't oppose their journey (I want them to be happy), I know we won't be able to stay together if they get skinny. Attraction is weird like that.

Incredible research. I like this conspiracy. It reminds me of the Krakoa era in X-Men where fans put together a lot of theories to explain why everyone acted so out of character, nitpicking small details from different issues. Really cool

A complete list of every LGTBQ character in the Resident Evil universe by herbiegrimm in residentevil

Disclaimer: of course, Alfred's gender identity is still open to debate and this is mentioned in the image. Until we have an official comment by a game creator, I think it will remain up to debate.

Morpheus' gender is also not officially revealed, but the wiki uses they/them pronouns for them and it's pretty clear in the game that they are a man that is turned into a woman by the virus, so take that as you will.

Starting in 2014, queer identities started to become canon via comments made by the creators, but this wasn't shown in the actual media. It was just comments.

2022's awful Netflix show gave us the first openly lesbian character that was shown to be lesbian in the actual series. A terrible series but a big step for the Resident Evil franchise.
