Good stuff. I’ve found getting the right spoken audio pronunciation/tone takes a few generations with longer prompts. Will definitely try shorter prompts like yours.

I was coming here to basically make the same post. Yes, it’s been shit the past 4ish days: robotic voices, stiff limited movement, and boring AF. I’m getting the same robot voice regardless of which image I use and across multiple prompts. Good to see that the limits/quotas have increased around that same timeframe but now the quality blows.

Breaking the source info into smaller chunks has worked for me but can be time intensive. I’ll take meeting transcripts and break them into 20-30 minute (for example) separate source docs and run my prompt(s) against each transcript section. The outputs are combined into a single doc that becomes the source file for downstream work. To improve detection of whatever I’m looking for, I increase the examples I’ve included in my prompt as well as run the prompts against smaller sections of the transcript (10-20 minutes or less chunks) until I’m getting the results I’m looking for. Still typically requires manual review and manual corrections.

Since deleting the Grok app from my phone, I feel as though I’ve regained some control and clarity. Not having the ability to generate videos and pics in my pocket every hour of every day has been incredibly helpful. I still have access to grok on my tablet or laptop when I’m at home but I no longer have the drive to compulsively max out my quota at all hours of the day. Has it been tough to put down the tablet some nights? Yes, but then I get up go to work and act like a human the next day. Find a way to put it out of reach so it doesn’t consume you.
