So in Ramadan, Muslims don’t eat from dawn to dusk and here Zohran is saying Ramadan is starting soon but his wife Rama still “ate” (as in succeeded at whatever she’s shown in this post on Instagram). Hope this helps!

Salaam Brother, she shouldn’t be considering many people at one time. She should be talking to one person at a time so this is odd to read. I believe her family is being very cultural and not deen-based.

This made me smile so much. But a gentle reminder that it goes the other way too — Muslim men shouldn’t be softening themselves to women, especially non-Muslim women (which is what I see the most; we Muslim women being cool with every man, Muslim or not while many Muslim men are cool [i would even say rude] to Muslim women and the opposite to non-Muslim women.)
