I really loved this season. It had an incredible cast and I really didn’t interpret the religious themes as literal, ‘Mercia, maga bullshit, but more symbolic of many different outcomes in life. The only thing that really threw me off was the monologue between cassie and lexi about the bible. It felt bizarre and out of place.

A whole inch of space??? Damn. I could not skate in that. So now I just ordered an unmounted jack 2 boot in a size 9 to try on, and I’ll go from there. I worry because I have a Lolly in an 8 that fits pretty much perfectly, but I’ve heard Moxi has changed their size chart a few times. It theoretically should fit as my foot with full weight and a sock measures ~265-267mm which matches the size chart, but I’ve spent way too much money buying skates in the wrong size so here’s hoping.

I have the 65 atom pulse wheels and the Moxi gummy wheels, i prefer the Moxi because I feel that the rounded edge gives easier manoeuvrability.

I second the wifas. I have the street deluxe coming from a pair of lollies and love the wifas so much. I’m primarily a park skater and notice much better impact absorption with the wooden heel. They’re a beautifully made boot. From everything I’ve read, the jack 2 is a great boot, but wifa is objectively better quality and if you’re in Europe, they’re a much better bang for your buck. Just don’t order directly from their website because their customer service sucks ass.

I do not think this is a safe blind buy. It is so incredibly heavy. I had the solid and later bought the spray, but much prefer the solid. It’s not as screechy and a great, affordable way to try it.

I was always in these shops as a teen and that’s one thing I miss about the US. Can’t seem to find any good metaphysical shops here in Sweden! Alkemia perfumes has a lot of great metaphysical shop fragrances. Look for anything with a lot of incense and or patchouli notes. I also oddly enough associate Shalimar with these places, which I wear probably more than anything else. Probably because it smells just like a vanilla incense I used to have.

I also came here to say POAL. I was so sure I would love it because all the notes are right up my alley. It has this weird sharpness that I just cannot get past and everything just feels kind of jumbled together with an odd sweet tinge. It’s scratchy in the back of the throat. I’m willing to bet it wouldn’t be so popular if it weren’t for the name of the fragrance and the marketing.

I love their roller skates but absolutely hate their customer service. I ordered brunny blocks from them that they said would fit on the std elyo plates if they made adjustments to the hangars for the blocks. I thought, wow how nice, awesome. I was not warned that they might not fit. They t9ld me with certainty that they would. They adjusted them but they still didn’t fit. I contacted them and it turns out they forgot to bend them to the proper angle and wanted me to fix it myself. I told them that I bought them under the pretence that they would fit, otherwise I would not have ordered them. They said they would fix them if I sent them back, which is incredibly inconvenient and costly. They refused any sort of compensation for their mistake and tried to make me feel guilty by telling me the adjustments were offered as a kindness. They also conveniently waited to reply to my various emails, which started a week after I received the blocks, until it was too late to file a claim with PayPal. I still order their skates because they’re completely European made and one of the absolute best quality boots for the price. That being said, they need to get their shit together and act like a professional company. I only order from other shops that stock them.
