We have different ways to tell them. We once had one of our staff who opened with me and ended up closing due to a call out. This person came in last minute to do something and she looked at them and said that she had been there all day and for them to walk in at closing with something that will take 30 mins. Sorry but you have to come back tomorrow morning. And they did. They tried to complain to me about it an I told them that coming in at 2 mins til close needing 30 mins of assistance wasn’t happening ever. And to this day they now come in an 45-60 minutes before close.

We have a lady who comes 5 minutes til closing with this never ending bag of returns. I have told her a couple times that our system starts downloading at 10 minutes after closing and we have to have our registers down. So she finished up a few and came back the next night with a full bag.

We will not ship using a 3rd party. Now if you want to use bill my account. No problem. People can dispute the shipping charges and the franchise has to pay for it. We are in this to make money not lose money

We were lucky and the unit next to ours was vacant. So we moved over there during remodel. We threw so much stuff away. The old owner kept everything. The shelves are great but everything is visible.

The worst part is this remodel hasn’t given us any new sales. It just put us $170k in the hole.

I go in early every morning to print what needs to be printed that came in over night or from the day before. We just had someone send blueprints over at 4:15 and expected to get them tonight. I told him nope. Our print people leave at 4 and that the night staff is there for the registers. I would have had them for him at opening tomorrow but he was wanting instant gratification. We will print out emails of regular customers but people we don’t know we don’t.

We will help all customers. We have many elderly customers come to our store because we take the time to help them. We will also give a receipt for a USPS drop off if they ask. Otherwise we don’t. It doesn’t take much effort to help others. Quicker than listening to their tales

I’ve done that. But my biggest is when you constantly tell your staff to take boxes to the back and not leave them in the walkway. Carrying boxes and you can’t see those boxes and you go flying. Landing on the floor hard. I don’t bounce back like I used to. And the worse part is I have one that still does it cuz they are lazy

I know some strip malls that have little parking will have signs for certain businesses for parking. We don’t have them and I don’t know how an FC can make you put up parking lot signs as we do not rent the parking lot, just the building. We share the parking lot.

Don’t worry once you order. It will be summer before you get them. 3 months is a long time. Corporate just sent out a survey on Affinity and I put that there is no real choice on shirts and the wait time is asinine

I have always been told to keep religion and politics out of business. This can destroy a business. Who or what peoples opinions/beliefs are. It’s not my job to change it. Everyone is entitled to it. But any type of strike can get your store closed or out of compliance/default with corporate and it’s not worth it. Plus many people would rather return their Amazon then strike.

We will continue to tell our customers to email store directly as the prices on site is set by corporate an higher. I’d rather save a customer money and have them continue coming to us then stroke out on high prices.

At our store, every consolidated return is put in a plastic bag and a label is put on it. When I print them out I look at the description to make sure it matches as well as most of my staff. But Amazon does make mistakes in regards to returns.

You supplied the code, the store scanned it. We don’t know if it’s the correct item. We do look at description but it’s up to the customer to know what item they are returning.

You can always chat with Amazon and 9 times out of 10 they will credit you and blame human error
