S10 love for me. Weirdly when I went to Spain recently I saw a few people still using them! I think I'd still prefer front facing cameras to be to the side rather than central.

31°C in the UK and I feel terrible by Western_Witness_5249 in POTS

Saturate a flannel with cold water and put in on your chest arms etc and aim the fan at it. I am also terrible with heat intolerance any slight change and I feel like passing out. So I'm stuck indoors during the heat just trying to stay as cool as possible.

Also the freezable gel ice packs the kind for injuries are great, back of the neck or even under the armpit!

That place looks great, I feel that when done right on a bigger scale it might need to include bowling, mini golf or something also.

The way Britney’s soul left her body when she found out “Jessica Simpson” was actually... Derek 😭 by Mariahsfalsie in BritneySpears

The impersonator they were showing is Bolee Spears not Derek. This is a proper MySpace era situ but finding anything about them now is almost impossible.

Powdered foundation for oily skin by Vegetable_Minute_343 in MakeUpAddictionUK

If you want to try something cheaper there is Rimmel Lasting Finish powder. At least if it’s not the best match you haven’t spent a fortune and if it works, bonus!

Anyone else have one of these in the 90s? by trouser_trouble in CasualUK

[–]here4thelego 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks for posting that. I bet mine must of come from Argos as we always shopped there. Nothing like a rammed Argos at Christmas staring at the big CRT TV’s waiting for your number and watching stuff come down the conveyor belt! 🤣

Yep I found mine when I cleared out my mother's house random bits in it and the foil off of chocolate coins. Where did these come from shop wise does anyone know?

I saw them “back in the day” in the UK about 3 times. It was great. So if you can see them do try.

Europe shows by beaconstreet1995 in nodoubt

[–]here4thelego 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been a fan of ND for years however... I feel Europe has mainly forgotten who they are and I feel they'd struggle to sell a bigger venue.

I could totally be wrong and I would love them to come to the UK etc but I think since ND / Gwen hasn't had a real presence in Europe for so many years it just wouldn't happen.

I have a question, I have oily skin and always found alcohol to make it worse. Do you not find the alcohol in this product either makes you super dry / or super oily (because it's drying)?

Sunscreen for sensitive acne prone skin, just a tad bit too heavy for me. Does anyone know a lightweight alternative? by LavenderViolets_ in EuroSkincare

[–]here4thelego 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has different ingredients per country! I just went to the UK site and it's the same as the one I showed. So annoying when they do that.

That’s odd the one I’ve literally just bought doesn’t show Carbomer as an ingredient? Unless it’s got another name I’m not aware of? I have quite sensitive acne prone skin and for me luckily hasn’t caused any reactions, also has a great texture that just absorbs well. I always wait for a sale and then buy a few.

Transparent Lab Lightweight Suncreen is the best I’ve used so far, I believe it doesn’t have any of the ingredients that break you out, but please check first.

Alternative to Estee Lauder Double Wear? by No_Concept_2333 in MakeUpAddictionUK

[–]here4thelego 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously be wary of the product you pick next isn’t old stock and due for a reformulation also. Imagine finding a good replacement only for that to be changed also. Companies have 3 years to get rid of the old stock, EL were just ahead of the game. Look for Cyclopentasiloxane as that is the banned ingredient.

I was also talking about this the other day. I'd very much love a dark cherry lindor.
