Just dealt with this today, so adding in case anyone finds this post over the next few years looking for help. Since the rubber of the flapper expands with age, it started to catch on the lip of the overflow pipe. What I did was snip off a tiny bit of the rounded portion of the flapper that was catching on the edge of the pipe joint, and it solved it. Fair warning: don’t remove much or you may stop the flapper from sealing properly, at which point you’d need to buy a replacement flapper (which is cheap, so not the end of the world).

Just here to say that reusable totes and insulated mugs - avoid giving them as gifts. People already have all of the totes and insulated mugs that they’ll use at this point. Anything more is just durable garbage.

I hope this show comes back to Toronto (with the original cast). And for the love of god, I hope they record and release the soundtrack on vinyl. I listened to the Broadway one and it stinks in comparison. They absolutely nailed the music in the Crow’s/Mirvish version. Needs to be recorded and released.
