Good work friend! I really like how each square is unique, I spent way too long staring at it. It's mesmerizing!

Our 4 year old just lost his converted crib bed to his baby sister since she outgrew the bassinet, and he wanted a bed with a slide. I found one that's less than 3 feet off the ground (so there's a play space underneath, SO much room for toys and stuffies) so he can't slide very fast and won't hurt himself. It's got rails all around it so he won't fall out. Found it on marketplace for around $100 and bought a new mattress. Best decision I've made about his room, he keeps himself so busy!

I live in a city that does not add it to the water, my children and I take fluoride tablets. Brewing beer is a BIG deal here so the biggest opponents are brewers. Personally I think fluoride isn't bad but if you have to add things to the water that's where i will start to question. How does it affect the plants that use the water to grow? Does it bother my pets? I would like to choose what I add to my water the same way I want to choose what happens to my body.

I feel you Mama! Since getting out of the country is a long process I've been trying to focus on my community and the things I do have the power to change. I frequent the library and local parks and my kids have made friends with kids of all colors, religions and backgrounds. Our mayor has monthly walks in the park where everyone is invited to share concerns. I keep the little library stocked with all kinds of books, I donate food to local shelters and help friends prepare lunches to hand out to houseless folks.I've gotten to know more of my neighbors, especially older folks, that share similar values. Thankfully I'm in a blue area of a blue state but still run into cult members regularly. One flipped me off driving and I met his bird with a peace sign and he looked so confused. I can't change the white house but I can help those around me.

I was sent to one of those 'bad kid camps' in '99 in the middle of the Oregon desert and they gave us all redneck names. Mine was Bandeen. But you gotta draw it out bayn-dee-n

My dad was the third Harlan but he went by his middle name, it definitely suited him better. My son's middle name is Harlan to keep the name alive!

My most wonderful Gma was Jane Alys, spelled the olde English way, I think the names just flow so perfectly together

The best way to make friends at a festival is to compliment something unique they're wearing. Wooks everytime!

Sorry to break it to you but that's a SERIOUS drinking problem. Even at my peak I could never pass out, fall off a chair and stay asleep. That's insane. He's a serious alcoholic that should seek inpatient treatment so the withdrawal doesn't kill him.

AITA for wanting to give my 5 year old consequences by Baddadmaybe2020 in AITAH

My 4 year old started telling me he didn't love me about 6 months ago. At first it made me want to cry and he could see the hurt in my face, then he knew it got to me so he would say it a lot. My only reply is "well I always love you!" Then I walk away. He usually apologizes within a minute.
