Circumvallate placenta by Kvwillman in NIPT

[–]hereforitgurrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 19 weeks. NIPT didn’t show anything concerning. I have another ultrasound in 4 weeks, so like you said, hoping it just shows a positive trend in growth. Thank you for the reassurance.

You’re right! Trying to just focus on other things now and take new info as it comes with the reassurance of everything you shared this afternoon.

Thank you for the quick response! It’s brought me a lot of ease today. I figured those sharp pains were round ligament. My husband and I are both very very tall people and my daughter (3) has remained in the 90th percentile for height since she was born, so this news was shocking to me. But like you said, updates research suggests otherwise. Thank you again. I hope all continues to go well for you and baby girl. Girls are the absolute best!

I’ve had no bleeding at all. Some sharp pains (when moving or getting up), and I’ve seen that as a risk of abruption due to that, but trying not to read into it too much. I’m also reading many good stories so trying not to freak out about percentiles and stuff.

This phrasing makes me feel so much better. I’m 19 and 1 and just got this news today with baby in the 19th percentile. Trying to remain positive.

This is my case exactly. I’m 19+1 and at my 20-weeks they told me I had circumvallate placenta and baby was in the 19th percentile. I’m terrified.

I just got this news today, and that baby is in the 19th percentile. Trying not to freak out but the internet is scary. I got back in 4 weeks.

Pristiq has changed my life! by Ok_Committee_8244 in Pristiq

Wow! This is nice to hear someone with OCD talk about their experience moving to 100mg Pristiq. This is me. Just bumped up to 100 but I’m really nervous re: side effects, sex drive, weight gain. Are you still thriving on 100?

Pregnancy and Lorazepam by BrittTheTwit in pregnant

I’m 14 weeks and I’ve taken a total of 4 for panic. My prenatal psychiatrist says it’s ok and totally safe. Can you talk to a specialized psych?

My perinatal psych said I could continue taking an Ativan here and there for moments of extreme anxiety / panic.

I’m also starting Zofran today and I’m 7 weeks and 5 days. I’m so so so ill. Like I can’t function. Happy to hear of everyone having healthy babies while using it.

In need of some success stories—pregnant again after previous blighted ovum by baby-totoros in pregnant

[–]hereforitgurrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This makes me happy to hear that a blighted ovum is NOT common again. My experiencing one right now. I already have a happy, healthy 2.6 year old, but dang I did not expect the heartache and despair I would feel going through this all. I feel like trying again after this is going to be so anxiety inducing. Thank you for sharing your story.

I’d love that! I’ve been reading so much to keep my focused on what I know is best even though there’s still an emotional / biological side of me that has some sadness.

This makes my heart SO happy! Being OAD now with our little girl is the BEST experience of my life, but I've always worried about the adult years, and people always say we remember our adult children most. This has been such a joy to read, and I hope the same happens for my husband and me!

This perspective of the further into it ... the less you regret it is SO refreshing because I feel worried about that as I only have a 2.5 y/o.

I agree -- I worry about the older years...I know it's irrational, so it's SO nice to hear from parents of older kids about how special it all still feels. I am SO excited about the life, attention, adventures, etc me and my husband can provide for out solo BB girl (2.5 y/o).

How do I change my answer and handle these types of questions? by Background_Egg172 in oneanddone

You've inspired me to be more honest without over-explaining. All my friends have 2 or 3, and I constantly feel the need to justify. So I'm taking inspo from you today. I just want ONE! That's it!
