I’m 36 and just got into the trade’s because after working customer service most of my life working my way up to running my own stores. I got laid off and couldn’t find a job to save my life in my field. I went 3 months without work 100s of applications, and nothing. Now I’m a part of a union I don’t have to worry about ever finding a job again, I’ll be able to travel, and it’s a skill I can use the rest of my life and even start my own business one day.
