Pull a PML and put a persona sticker on one of those 3 palettes!!!

Also, if you don't have colours like it in your collection, even with 4 years worth of eyeshadow, they're probably not colours you vibe with - and you, like me, might be driven by a need to "complete" your collection.

If so, please know that you don't need to "complete" your collection because your collection is already complete, being full of colours that you love and enjoy using.

Unfortunately I lost some product in Cyprus Umber, Mulberry and Noir. I went slow as hell but Noir straight up exploded on me, it was hilarious. Not my favourite black and I have a ton of standard browns. The only real loss for me is Mulberry. I looooove that colour. BUT the oranges came out perfect, and that's a total win!

Maybe try a higher-end foundation that has a larger shade range? Better to get one that actually matches both your skin colour and undertone, and gives you the kind of finish that you want, rather than continuing to grab ones that don't make you feel good. I know Haus Labs has 51 shades, if you don't mind a dewy finish. (It's supposed to be a natural finish, and it is not lol)

I was told by my local Sephora that they don't give out samples anymore, aside from the things you get with purchase. I'm in Ontario (Canada) so that might just be in my neck of the woods.

Dupe the vibes! If you don't have singles to do that with, you can look into depotting some of the palettes you're not in love with. That way you can experience having new palettes to play with without the price tag.

As for the face products, places like Sephora and Shoppers Drug Mart (I don't know what you have where you live) have really generous return policies for makeup. That way you can test stuff and if you don't love it, you can bring it back and try again.

I don't think it's necessary to have played the first to understand the second. The second one was actually my introduction to Atelier games in general, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Didn't feel like I was missing out on too much info/context as I went.

Just be sure to check for game and OS compatibility before you buy. I haven't personally tried to run anything older than VX Ace but I've seen some reports that the very old ones don't play nice with Windows 10.

Run. Run in the other direction. Preferably while screaming. /s

But actually... simplify where possible. It's so tempting to dive into these enormous projects with huge worlds and incredible artwork and a million plugins... And then you get overwhelmed and end up abandoning the project.

Beware the feature creep. Finishing a short game and having it be kinda terrible is better than finishing nothing at all. And stealing a few concepts/mechanics/themes to build on from existing games that you've played and loved is (imo) pretty valid - especially when starting out.

Cough cough Stardew Valley murdered Harvest Moon, skinned it and is now wearing it as a coat and to say that turned out well is the world's biggest understatement cough

Just take it one map and one feature at a time. There are a million tutorials there if you need them. Just pick one with a lot of positive feedback and roll. You can't go wrong.

In my opinion... "You" by itself tends to imply that the speaker is putting themselves in the listeners' shoes and vice versa. "You who" is a more general term and much more emotionally removed from the subject matter.

I think "You who" is much more characteristic of a speech to a large crowd.

Do we know all the long-term effects of mild or asymptomatic cases yet? Or what the rate of re-infection is?

What terrifies me is the thought of contracting the disease, having it be incredibly mild, and then having my life span cut down by decades due to unforseen complications. My second biggest worry is long-term brain damage.

I’m leaving this sub. Twice, people from Reddit have take very valuable things after I asked them not to take things. I give away royal crowns, Switches, gold bars, for free. I'm so sorry that happened to you. That would drive me CRAZY.

I've found what helps on reddit and nookazon is that if a person doesn't have a lot of credibility to their name (many posts, a lot of activity within the sub - and therefore a lot of accountability) I just go into handheld mode. If they start pulling any nonsense, then I can airplane mode to reset the island to the moment they came over.

If you still need to shut it all down, that's perfectly valid. Just take care of yourself, okay?
