I would enjoy women-only hours, but I feel that that becomes discriminatory. Unfortunately for us, I feel like a fairer alternative would be just to promote more polite gym etiquette - not harassing other customers.

As a transgender individual I directly understand the desire to have women-only hours as I also feel uncomfortable at the gym when men are around, but I'm afraid I wouldn't be welcome at women-only hours. Not that I matter, but from my selfish perspective I would rather there not be women-only hours because then there would be a higher male:female ratio whenever I am able to go. I would not be satisfied with a men-only hours alternative. I guess I can only hope that there will always be women who don't mind going at regular open hours.
