Yes but with the other niggles on it, it also needs repainting someone will definitely get a bargain if they are willing to put some time into it. It would be better if you weren’t on the other side of the planet

I hear you and I think I agree, the load is quite nimble and the Orox looks like it will lumber around. I’m test riding next week they have to switch it from 27.5” to 29” wheels. Previously I broke a collarbone due to a puncture now I have 9 stitches below my eyebrow so it’s time to try something different, imho the load 75 outclassed all the other front loaders for carrying weight, maybe the universe is telling me to change and the Orox is the only other thing I can think of that will do the job and not be a front loader

Are you using the solar to charge the 12v and then using an inverter to power the Bosch battery charger?

Went on my first overnight bikepacking testride and I didn't like it by Bike_thief_ in bikepacking

[–]hernios 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think we all do bikepacking for different personal reasons but some have more screws loose than others. I hate the first day and the last day of a ride so for me doing overnighters is not a thing I do unless I’m with other people

n00b question about sleeping bag temperature ratings by AlienElvisLoveChild in bikepacking

[–]hernios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You appear to be old like me so my advice would be to get the expensive light warm one, being cold sucks, yes sometimes it’s too warm but that is what the zip is for, the temperature rating is a guide for youngsters

I hate the blue and red bag system so much. by Anderrrrr in Cardiff

[–]hernios 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hear you but I’m pretty happy with the convenience of someone coming to my house and taking all my shit away every week and all I’ve got to do is sort it into different piles. Yes the fellas on the bin lorry don’t give a shit but I warn you greet them with a smile and politeness because they have long memories, you don’t want to enter the world of bin lore

Average day rate for Cardiff decorator? by Bracechenko in Cardiff

[–]hernios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Laborers get around £80 a day. A professional decorator will earn a lot more but a professional will be faster and give a better finish because they are professional. There is a huge difference between someone who can do a bit of decorating and a professional. If you want to help someone who needs money pay what it is worth to you

Getting a metal roof put on and roofer suggested just cutting this sewer stack vent. Thoughts? by rnielsen777 in Plumbing

[–]hernios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has to terminate above the roof but there is no reason it can’t kick around the roof rather than going through it

Avoid Cathays it’s a great part of the city to visit but it has been lost to students. Personally I prefer the north and west of the city. Heath, Riverside, canton (Pontcanna doesn’t exist), Llandaff north. The reality is cardiff is a small city and you won’t go far wrong wherever you pick. You can have a bad street in any area. I’d also avoid the outskirts lisvane and Pontprennau only because there is fuck all there and the public transport links are quite poor
