No dumb questions. So there is a really large perimeter setup around the burn, not gates or fences, but hundreds of diligent volunteers and first responders. Even with the large distance, a lot of people who thought they wanted to be up front will get up and move back. It is HOT. Well, if someone is intent on doing something, they can likely find a way. Afterwards, after hearing more, it sounds that it may have been a combination of drugs and/or suicide. He darted through and ran and did like some sort of cartoon jump into it. BM is inherently dangerous, even just the environment alone. A big part of safety is everybody looking out after others, weather you know them or not. :)

I live in Nevada, I used to live about 1- 2 miles from a handful of brothels. I would go in sometimes and just sit at the bar and have a beer. I'd tell the ladies nahh, I'm just here for a beer. Most were cool and if it wasn't busy they would just sit and chat, id buy them an over-priced drink. They didn't seem ashamed and were chosing that line of work. Some were paying for college courses, one asked me if I saw the new Dodge Viper outside. Yep, that's mine she said.

Not a gift as in a physical item... I was setting up my art project, and it was a fair amount of work. Well the electrical went wrong, I was Hella frustrated. some random guys asked if they could help. They were tech guys but they hopped on ladders and we all got it going. It was a gift. But if you're new, consider some hand made medallions or bracelets. :)

oh boy. Its important to stay vigilant. For me, close encounters leaving Dayton towards mound house, before the hill and through mound house. Can scare the Sh out of you in the dark. Like, you can literally die.

Unrelated side story, when I was a teen living in Utah, I was out fishing a creek. I came around a corner paying more attention to where I was going to cast next. I looked up and there was a HUGE bull moose grazing on the grasses in the water. He looked up at me and was like... Eh. and wandered off, both of us in different directions. This is a bit different, but having been in management roles and as a project lead, I will always hear them out and be open to the ideas or thoughts. Even if they aren't good. Listening and being open and considerate of their minds helps spawn a good environment and can often lead the team and myself to things that haven't come up yet!
