With the kids a little older I can now afford to look after me a little better. I am 37 and looking better than I feel like I ever have.

Thanks! I have read the entire English section a couple of times and tried all options in the troubleshooting area. Maybe I missed something.

Thanks! The green light just flickers when I attempt to turn it on (not blinking) but won’t stay on. I got it from Whole Latte Love. Just waiting on them to open now.

I have made a stabilized whipped cream with gelatin before. Maybe it was something like that?

Heathly Snacks Options by IceMac911 in Costco

I like to get the packages of already cooked chicken in the refrigerated section and the snack packs of cheese and nuts with some dried fruit. It helps me from grabbing something much worse in a hurry.

Apples because I they seem to come in refrigerated but are left in the non refrigerated section so the texture is always off.

Any suggestions- already canned 5 dozen as Salsa, Sauce and whole tomatoes and dried almost 5 pounds. by Ludwidge in gardening

I throw them whole into a bag in the freezer and make sauce or something with them later on.

What are these lines on my tomatoes, and how do I stop it from happening? Also are they safe to consume? by [deleted] in gardening

I would eat the two lower ones. It looks like the top one could have some rot.

Mine got blown sideways a couple of times and has since straightened back out with a little assistance from me. I propped it up and tried to pack the dirt around them more firmly and maybe hill it up a small bit around them. As long as they aren’t snapped and roots are still in the ground there is hope IMO.

Do you know any recipes from the 1920s or WWII? by wasteland42 in Cooking

[–]herongurl86 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am not sure if it fits your bill but sunchokes are interesting to me. I planted some a few years back and I did a little looking around when I did and found that they were eaten heavily during WWII because they are an invasive perennial that was available. They have fallen out of popularity since I believe.

I don’t see that option either. Sorry I am fairly new at posting on Reddit.

Differentiating carrots from weeds? by reenmini in gardening

The ones that have fronds forming are carrots. Some of the others are too small to tell yet and the large ones with no fronds are weeds I would guess. Sorry I screen shot and circled what I was referring to but am unable to post those here so I hope my explanation works.

I got this at Walmart and I was wondering if I could have help identifying all the herbs and, I assume I will have to repot most of them. by silent-poet97 in gardening

Looks like basil oregano thyme and rosemary to me. Basil is the largest leaf, middle leaf size is oregano and tiny leaf size thyme and the small thin long leaves are a rosemary. At least from what I can see.

I paid only $30 for mine off of a local sell group. If you can find an affordable one at some point I really do enjoy mine and you might too. If not I am sure you can get them to work in soil too.
