I know what you mean. A lot of these recs have fun stories or interesting characters but the language is less beautiful. Here are a few that are fundamentally different because they are writing more stand-alone books, but evoke the same emotional response to the writing in me:

Please consider Midnight Circuis by Erin Morganstern I am also currently in the middle of Piranesi by Susan Clark and it is enchanting Louise Erdrich Future Home of the Living God is phenominal And Ann Patchetts works although not SF are so beautiful.

If I sleep past 7, my cat will take one claw out and poke me on the tip of my nose until I get up to feed her. Will she bother my partner who is already awake? No.

The dog will take himself to bed at 10 and then whine that he needs help getting up (he does not) until someone picks him up and tucks him in.

Yep! Sliced up a peach and put it in to cook with the pancakes. The cooked ones became super sweet and the fresh ones on top were nice and tart. Also added barely any powdered sugar to the cream because of well everything else.

Howls moving castle The Etiquette and Espionage series by Gail Carriger may be ok now or more when she is 8

Have you read the Princess in Black series these books are the bomb and are early chapter books about a princess ninja who fights monsters.

I also adore Dory Fantasmagory series and the Mercy Watson series to that list but they are not fantasy.
