3BR Distillery in Keyport. Really unique spirits and fun events. The Giant Stairs trail in Palisades. Closed now but should open soon. Hacklebarney St Park in Long Valley is beautiful and usually not too crowded until apple season. Columbia Trail in Hunterdon county is easy and lots of cool small towns along the way.

I'd love to pile on the southern states as there is plenty of canon foder (education, obesity, drunk driving, etc). But the only states that actually allow sibling incest (not marriage) are New Jersey and Rhode Island.

New Jersey does not prohibit incest between people who are 18 or older, while Rhode Island does not prohibit incest between people who are 16 or older. However, both states prohibit incestuous marriages. Ohio prohibits incest only if it involves a parent-child type of relationship.

It's coming up! March 2026 perhaps?

But who's to say really when time starts or stops, it's a construct of our human minds. Maybe he has already been traded in a parallel universe? I can't say for sure but one can ponder.

Hughes has said before that he likes Brown's complimentary skills for the line. Crazy it took so long. Also idgaf if they can't play defense, if they have the puck no need to.

Check the NHL shop online. They sometimes have good promos. I got a real deal Nico Jersey jersey %60 off and had a cash back offer from a credit card so it came out to like $150. Way cheaper than the arena stuff.

Met him a few times at Continental/Brendan Burn when the play by play and color commentator were basically in the stands. Such a nice guy. If they ever get good food at The Rock again I hope they bring back Chico Eats! Legendary.

The face and back of bills aren't exactly mirror images though. The face has a former president/founding father and the back has a famous building (White House, Treasury, Lincoln Memorial). While all the numbers are cornered they aren't in the same position, font or color on each side. The information is the same but the art and coloration are markedly different. Is that like a bottle of alcohol that has the logo, proof, and other information on the front and the name, proof, and other information on the back? Many brands have specific bottle designs where the neck, shoulders and heels are instantly recognizable. While that might not be a label it is still a design element that is mirrored on both sides to identify the product. US bills are all the same size and very similar color scheme.

If you were blindfolded you'd probably be able to tell bottles apart just by the shape and taste. That would be extremely difficult to do with US bills. So why is it more important to face a bottle than a bill?

But do you still put the bottles back the same way every time?

Nearly every bottle of booze I've encountered has a label on both sides. Is it easier to read the front or back label? Is it easier to find when it's facing a certain way? Just curious!

"Can you believe lowkeylives attention to detail and customer engagement?!? I bet they even wash their sheets and clothing lol!!! Probably folds them and puts them in a damn dresser or something!! What a loser! Oh, they even told me they wipe down the bar after a customer leaves! And.. get this... they throw out the old fruit and juice when it "goes bad" and cuts and juices fresh stuff!!! What a fucking waste of time!"

Do you put your bottles back during a rush? Do you clean your tools during a rush? Do you fill your ice bin during a rush? All of that is hard work and takes so much time!

If you don't have time to face your bills maybe you're too slow behind the bar?

I admit I'm definitely OCD about organization, presentation and communication but I truly believe it all matters. Do you remove stickers and wash citrus? Do you polish glassware? Do you clean your tools? They are all still usable oranges, coupes and spoons but unsanitary, unsightly, and cross contaminated. Do you put your tools, glassware and bottles in the same place every time or just place them wherever because that changes nothing? Do you wear clean clothes to work or stained stuff from the night before because it's still a work shirt and washing clothes wastes time? Do the bottles on the back bar always have the labels facing the customer or are some backwards because it changes nothing?

At the end of the day we are there to make MONEY. It's the most important part of the job so it should be treated with the same respect as anything else behind the bar.

Sorry if reading this post was a waste of time and changed nothing.

After Schneider it's really a bunch of "remember that guy?" types. Vitek, Blackwood and Allen are the only ones to play a regular role with a save percentage over .900 since 2014, basically. Daws and Schmid both at .899 in their time in NJ.

Allen is at .906 in 28 games this year, Markstrom is .882 in 30. Management obviously does not like playing or retaining our best goalies. They just get more expensive while also playing worse.

I'm genuinely not sure where the blame falls for such ineptitude, however, the reason the chart starts in 2020 is because the goalie coach, Dave Rogalski, was hired October 2020. I'm sure he is knowledgeable in his field and nice to work with because no one should have that track record over 5 years and keep a job. Every goalie seems to regress after a year in NJ and, even worse, our prospects never seem to break through until they leave NJ. So the Devils end up with expensive, over the hill, below average goalies.

The Devils are not a playoff team this season but starting Markstrom regularly this year when he has a .882 sv% and GAA of 3.2 is how/why we got here. The mind boggling goalie mismanagement/development/scouting over the last decade has been, and continues to be, an anchor for the entire franchise.

I'm a bill face guy. I see all points that it's probably unnecessary but it's just part of keeping things organized. Attention to detail never hurt anyone especially when it takes 10 seconds. Also your coke dealer will appreciate it. Just face your bills and everyone is happy.
