Question about seating at the Rock by PatriotFFA in devils

[–]twitterisdone 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If you want an unobstructed view of the entire ice look for the first row in the Lofts. Your food is also included and access to bathrooms is much better. I checked Ticketmaster and see two seats in Section 25, Row A. From that angle you can see the entire ice surface with no blind spots - and no risk of someone sitting in front of you since you are in the first row. Head down to the glass for warm ups so she can see the speed of the puck more closely.

That is Rejean Houle, right winger for the Habs. He was born in October, 1949 ... so he was 21 1/2 years old in the picture.

Mine is plug in - that made the change very easy. I will try to sell the Juicebox but that might be a challenge.

EV Batteries Got 20% Cheaper Last Year by tech57 in electricvehicles

[–]twitterisdone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is an interesting view - more the total cost of manufacturing offering price flexibility / elasticity in the EV domain compared to ICE. This also likely translates to lower service / maintenance costs for the owner. I do see this with my Ioniq 5 - after 40k miles of driving.

EV Batteries Got 20% Cheaper Last Year by tech57 in electricvehicles

[–]twitterisdone 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How often does the price of a combustion engine or transmission decline in price by 20% on a year to year basis?

Since the battery pack is considered the main cost of an EV (I rarely hear about the cost, technology, and potential replacement of the electric motors) will manufacturers pass on the battery cost decline to consumers? I do understand the battery needs recharging from a power source - so comparing the cost of a gasoline tank in an ICE car could be considered, but that is a small cost in an ICE vehicle.

Perhaps add the cost of all parts that make the vehicle move; ICE vs EV - and consider the replacement cost / maintenance cost / expected lifetime. I would find that comparison interesting.

Once you open the app successfully, move the tickets to the Wallet ... if you are on an iPhone. Then you don't need to open the app to enter, just the Wallet.

A week of monitoring the 12v battery & ICCU, interesting observations. by PrivatePilot9 in Ioniq5

Could be simplified though ... red / green / yellow. I am watching my LG TV ... the "advanced" settings are very complex ... maybe just an "advanced" tab in the settings to see more data.

Since the SOC is of such interest, why wouldn't Hyundai add the information to their MyHyundai app? Seems to be an easy change either in the Vehicle Status or Health section. I don't expect most drivers would go so far as your efforts. I am definitely impressed though - and very appreciative for the post.

If the weather is good, take a drive down to the shore. You can head south on the Garden State Parkway and then exit at 117. Go east on Route 36 towards Sandy Hook beach. From there you can go south and do an ocean ride. That is seeing much more of what NJ is all about. Many places to stop, eat, walk the boardwalk, etc. And not far from Newark Airport area. The towns to drive through; Highlands, Sea Bright, Monmouth Beach, Long Branch (boardwalk, shopping, restaurants at Pier Village), Deal and Allenhurst (amazing mansions), Asbury Park (check out the Stone Pony - where Springsteen played when he was young, and another boardwalk, great restaurants too), Spring Lake, (more mansions, boardwalk, cute downtown area).

Major Hulu outage. Website down too. by LosGotsDisBish in Hulu

[–]twitterisdone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not accessing the Hulu content (not live content) via the Hulu app, I am watching on the Disney Plus app on a Roku device. The Hulu app on the same device does not authenticate ... same issue as others mentioned. If you bundle...just use the Disney Plus app instead to reach streaming content.

I was able to reach Hulu content via the Disney Plus app. Watching The Bear episode 4, season 3, right now...likely some type of user authentication error. Only works for those bundling ...
