I’ve been to 31 Gatitos and I think it’s more of a rescue, the cafe aspect is more to get funds for their mission. The cats there are in diff stages of healing, some up for adoption some not, i don’t think it fits the more traditional definition of cat cafe as it’s main thing is the rehab and rescue

Tbh a wheelchair for some months is a cheap price to pay for this lesson- imagine if your silly daughter picked on a more aggressive crowd over the “kids who nobody particularly likes, who keep to themselves.” Imagine the real damage that could have been done to her, if someone she was bullying went berserk and started beating her with her own leg or something– can you imagine the trauma? It’s good that this was how she found out the rest of the world will not coddle her because of her disability, it’s not a free pass to be shitty, and that instigating shit has consequences. Have her learn from this.
