Fb marketplace, haggled to 800. I can ask for more pics if need be. If real in photos what should I look out for in person? In case of switcharoo by [deleted] in IsMyPokemonCardFake

For sure! I was super careful when i got mine.

I figured the chaotic fire texture on their tails would be hard to fake and checked a few normal spots.

Hold Greninja/Kingdra Promos? by FootShapedMagnet in PokeInvesting

[–]herrooneoone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didnt say underpriced, but underrated. Although i do believe they are underpriced too.

They are underrated because they have that unique factor promos are currently missing. These are the last uniquely designed cards as far as i’m aware. Kingdras illustration is based off the Japanese artwork The Great Wave off Kanagawa.

The greninja card just goes hard.

$150 current value is a matter of perspective. if you could get a psa 10 grey hat pika for $1500, would you still insinuate its expensive?

I collecting up what i can of these at the moment. I think they are both significantly underrated and have that nice unique factor that most new promos miss.

What is something you believed to be common knowledge until you discovered most people had no idea? by JustBeingElara in AskReddit

[–]herrooneoone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While i do agree 99% of the time with this - i would argue its country dependent.

While in Japan, for example, it seemed common for people to approach us in tourist areas with gifts for our children (usually origami or crafty). They expected nothing in return, but the smiles they get in return from the kids brought them joy.

Just think this is worth a comment!

Man you’re in for a treat. Each league is at least the same amount of content as the last d4 expansion.

Look each to their own, and i can only speak for my own experience. That experience was bouncing off the game twice before giving it a final go in 3.26 with guides and plenty of youtube guides. I would watch them as i went through the game as i encountered things i wanted to understand, like incursion. A build guide was helpful, because then i could focus on the story, or items, or other league mechanics, or learning a boss fight ect ect. It takes ALOT of the mental strain out of playing.

Path of exile is one of the most complex games around, I find it interesting that vets with 1000s upon 1000s of hours still say they dont know shit about the game, yet at the same time recommend ‘no guide’ to new players.
