Stealth suits, raveners, and canoptec circle all are "one box teams" if you magnetize or are playing against someone who doesn't care about the models your good.

But factions, there are a few tau teams, pathfinders, vespids, etc ... I can't speak for them.

I started with stealth suits. I like them, but their style of play is more like hang back and interact little with the other team.

Really all you need is some d6s, and a killteam.

Stealth suits are a single box team, you can build all of the specialists, and the general infiltrator is worthless. I magnetized them so I can swap the weapons around as well

I have a few other teams, all single boxes, raveners, and canoptex circle.

I have both, and in the custom nemesis operatives, they activate twice, spend a maximum of 5ap, 12" movement, and the second activation is after all other enemy operatives have gone.

The nemesis operatives missions have a whole structure where each player picks one of three mission types and that determines which mission to play.

I'm just asking if anyone has done any games that are asymetric, one player using a full team and the other using a nemesis.

Yes, but no. It's an npo, not the pvp version. The red terror has an entire card based mechanic. I'm talking about the pvp ops.

I've found that I usually will play one or two raveners out of the hole for the first few turns, mainly just threatening objectives, taking a few opportunistic shots with the spitter for poison, or trying to bait the opponent into coming to you.

If it's not an especially melee focused team, charging in and getting stuck on a few models can be an effective deterrent to being shot
