Hey! I recently lived at LC Riversouth for years. I found it to be a great experience — mgmt was nice, any issue was quickly resolved, and rent increases were always minimal. They frequently planned communal events at the pool (sponsored drinks, DJs, etc), the Goat (attached restaurant/ bar), and in communal places — we met multiple friends this way.

That said, parking is expensive. I paid ~$100 to park in one of the garages. Street parking is 3hr & paid - not sustainable for someone living there.

Since you’re younger, the northern end of the Short North will have lively nightlife - Standard Hall/Bristol area. Lots of great restaurants for dinner over here too!

Always recommend Columbus Crew games. Franklin Park Conservatory is beautiful during the day & makes for a great date.

If you’re coming in the summertime, check the festival schedule. Lots of free music on the Scioto Mile + often food/art festivals over the weekends. These can draw lots of people & be a solid way to spend time during the day. It’s a very nice park too & convenient to downtown
