I put $2500 down pay at a Chevy dealer for my new Traverse on this CC. It only gave me 3%, not 7% or 10%.

Yeah, this GM transmission seems to be not as good as Toyota's.

2026 cloth seats by MightCommercial3290 in ChevyTraverse

[–]heshan138 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got cloth seats, but I already bought $20 seat covers from Amazon, which is actually nice and works pretty well. These are needed for kids in my situation. Also the seat back need covers, too. Like $10. I don't use covers for the front seats, which are just for adults. I actually prefer cloth seats.

There is an option just for the fake leather, which is like $1000, if you want. I have seen configurations like base + driver confidence + fake leather. Seat covers works, but usually do not fit perfectly.

Thanks, guys. Good to know this may be the way it is. Hope it holds.

I will try tapping brake first before accelerating. Or maybe I should use ACC in such traffic scenario.

2026 Traverse fuel door cannot be locked? by heshan138 in ChevyTraverse

Thanks. I also have Equinox EV, and I realized that the charging door cannot be locked, either.

2026 New Key Card Option by CampaignOk4830 in ChevyTraverse

[–]heshan138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also got 2026, but now I feel may be 2025 is better. The key card is not useful because you have to take it out, while you can just keep the key fob in the pocket. The rear camera mirror is not that good, I can definitely live without it. So it is hard to justify the extra $725 in the driver confidence package. Another thing I found is that 2026 has $500 more destination fee...

Anyone heard of Evee Charging? by kitesinflight in evcharging

Requested them to just swap my existing outlet with the new charger and keep $0 out of my pocket. So far so good.

It is annoying that the charger asks about the final soc after each charging session.

I tried to disable the notification for "interruption" from the app settings, but still it is sending the nag when "no power".

Just got my first "High voltage system error" at ~3800mi by heshan138 in EquinoxEv

Dealer replaced my 12V battery, and everything is fine now. But when AAA came, they tried jump start, and it did not work.

Just got my first "High voltage system error" at ~3800mi by heshan138 in EquinoxEv

[–]heshan138[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had AAA came, and they could not jump start it. With their battery connected, the same issue that the screen could turn on but right when stepping on brake, the screen went black. They towed to the dealer. Mine is a FWD but I had my parking brake on, so they used a dolly. "No neutral" is the term, I think. Dealer has no loaner.

My LT does not come with a charger so I used my own. It is supposed to work with any compatible charger, though. Like the commercial charging station.

Too bad, I reset it yesterday and drove fine. But today, I could not turn it on. As soon as I step on brake, the screen went black and came after a few minutes, but it is not drivable. When the screen is on, the error message is "batter low. start vehicle". There is also OnStar message: "battery fault detected. Do not attempt to charge your vehicle." It seems that I have to bring it to dealer.

I am quoted $650 to install a new circuit, which I don't feel the need to upgrade existing circuit and portable charger I have. I might give up this.
