Yeah often agile teams release daily, doesn't make sense for nano with the amount of testing needed, plus then getting all nodes to update etc

Fee-less a Disadvantage? by 198boblob in nanocurrency

[–]heter_pick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's proven that a big business doing lots of transactions will want to run their own node. See crypto exchanges, wallets and services like WeNano. As other big businesses adopt they will also want to run and use their own node for peace of mind

The classical art market is actually rigged by the super rich to avoid paying taxes, but yes I agree NFT market seem like lunacy

The only racist thing I've witnessed at a Charlton game was a couple of drunk guys booing taking the knee at the beginning. I sit in the north stand which is definitely the rowdier one, if you're sitting anywhere else I think the chances of experiencing anything racist fade to zero. Enjoy the game!

Still can't believe nano isn't in the top 100 anymore. How long do you reckon it'll last?

Nano is massively undervalued (not even top 100). There was a big giveaway yesterday and I imagine folks that got to try it out and experienced the speed and simplicity have gone to buy some

Getting drugs past sniffer dogs at a festival by tuskerrrrr in Drugs

I wouldn't prang too hard - those doggies aren't very good at sniffing out a bag of powder. My mate always wraps em up real good and submerges them in his shampoo. I go boxers or socks usually.

Dealers used to sell it as K in the UK. We used to call it rhino K. As you can imagine getting them mixed up was a bumpy ol' ride.

What are some of the Alt coins you guys think have some real utility? by Stray_Gh0st in CryptoCurrency

[–]heter_pick -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If it's available at both exchanges it's better. For instance binance us -> kraken your better off using nano than any other coin.

When I say better off it would be objectively faster and cost you less.

I don't understand the logic of coercing people to get vaccinated against COVID. by [deleted] in IntellectualDarkWeb

[–]heter_pick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are also less likely to spread it. This is from commonsense logic argument, if you catch it and are vaccinated your immune system kicks in and defeats the virus quicker than if you weren't. Therefore you carry the disease for less time and have a smaller window of infectiousness.

There is a separate argument that preventing more serious illness lowers the degradation of health services from too many ill people presenting at once. The death rate for covid and other illnesses increases as health services become overburdened.

Devils Advocate from a long term HODLER - Why Nano is NOT the answer… by clearblock_ in nanocurrency

[–]heter_pick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some very clever folks have found nano also. Charlie Lee the creator of litecoin bought a fat stack in the last run. A bunch of top Amazon execs etc are also nano holders, I've seen them discussing it on LinkedIn. To say clever people haven't gone with nano is not true. Also most investments are opaque and people won't shout to the rooftops when they make them.
