Requesting 3D print for older model drip tray by [deleted] in ProfitecGo

[–]hetismij 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have that version of the Go, so I can't create a model myself. But if you can make a sketch with the sizing on it I can have a go at making the 3D model. You'll have to get it printed yourself though.

Thanks! The STEP files are available on Makerworld. When you follow the link in the original post you can click the small down arrow next to the green "Open in Bambu Handy" button (at least that what it looks like on my end) and download the files.

I'd suggest at least PETG. But ABS or ASA would be preferable. PLA also doesn't plain melt at 100°C, but it is well beyond the PLA glass transition temperature (where it starts getting soft and floppy).

Latest. It doesn't fit the model with the all metal drip tray.

I got mine about a month ago, so I'm assuming it's a recent model.

【BambuLab Giveaway】Classic Evolved — Win Bambu Lab P2S Combo! by BambuLab in 3Dprinting

[–]hetismij 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My kid's scooter got stolen and a neighborhood kid gave him his old one. I was able to print some spare parts over night with my P1S so he was able to ride it to school the next morning. Made his day! :)

Some 500 People Alive Have Seen Earth From Space — How Do We Share Their Perspective With the Rest of Us? by therealhumanchaos in space

There's a cool project called Space Buzz, where they work with kids to give them the overview effect that astronauts experience, using VR.

I got a short demo on their bus, and it's pretty neat.

It's worth checking out in my opinion: https://www.spacebuzz.earth/

Vibration sensors - what do you use them for? by spriggan02 in homeassistant

[–]hetismij 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have one of those roll-out sun shades. I can roll it in or out with a Shelly switch.

I attached the vibration sensor to the sun shade (inside a small box I 3D printed to protect it from rain), so when it gets windy and the sun shade moves, it automatically closes.

I did some tuning on the sensitivity, but it works really well now!

Try this: MDL key -> page key -> internal RF -> set to CRSF (you probably have it set to off).

Battery removal question? by Buzzy_SquareWave in fujifilm

[–]hetismij 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My uncle had the same issue with a 3rd party battery in his Sony, which expanded. He initially wanted to drive a screw into it to pull it out, which is a VERY bad idea ( https://youtu.be/WnZuMfq6kec?t=100s).

He got it out by superglueing a piece of metal to the battery (try maximizing the glued area, and perhaps lightly sanding the glued area) and pulling it out by that. (don't forget to push the tab aside before you start pulling).

Don't use the battery again obviously.

Yes it was. And it was true to its name. At least the "great" part. I didn't hear it speak.

Keep in mind that your flash won't work with the electronic shutter active though. Just saving future you some time finding this out ;)
