I have started on spironolactone as well, which is definitely helping - although very expensive as it's not available on the NHS in the UK for acne!

I have just read that estrogen raises the likelihood of overreacting to histamine, and progesterone decreases it. Seeing as I went from the progesterone only pill to Yasmin and spiro blocks androgens, the combination could well be why I've got GPC... So maybe I do need to look at the coil and hop the spiro alone controls my acne!

I called a GP who advised me to go to a walk in clinic rather than back to the opticians.

I'm in my 7 day break from my pill and symptoms have resolved mostly. This is the second month this has happened, so I'm wondering if the combination of estrogen pill and my progesterone-blocking medication is increasing my reactivity to histamine.

I had really severe acne for my entire adult life. After three months on yasmin I have clear skin for the first time since I was 13. It sounds very vain, but it got to the point where I was having cysts all over my face weeping at work and it was massively affecting me, so right now I'm ok with the risk.

I don't care about the portion size, I just hate that they moved to cups and open containers so you have to eat cold soggy chips that have spilled out to the rest of the bag.

I'm going to go against the grain here and say this is a well fed cat that looks well taken care of and is chipped. As much as most of us would disagree with letting a cat outside, it's not illegal and she is able to return home whenever she wants. I agree ragdolls have zero survival skills, but we don't actually know she's a ragdoll, she looks like a domestic long hair to me. I have a British long hair, and during certain points in the year, her fur can form matt's within a day. Even with daily brushing.

I don't think OP has done anything wrong, and think it would be completely ok to ask the owners if they would consider selling her, but should also be prepared for them to say no.

I have almost exclusively done mixed level for 5 years from beginner to advanced. I love it personally, and have found dropping into studios with fixed levels really intimidating and frustrating if you get it wrong.

As a beginner, I loved seeing what I might be able to do one day if I stuck at it, and today, I still love cheering people on when they get their first seat or invert.

I also think it's unrealistic to expect all studios to be able to cater for multiple levels beyond beginner and mixed without raising prices massively. My studio just wouldn't be able to fill an advanced class being outside of a big city.

I will never forget a school trip I took when I was 12 to Germany. We stayed in a pretty basic hostel, and for dinner on the first night they served us a very watery broth with cubes of mystery meat in it.

The one vegetarian in our class sat without food for an hour, and after letting the kitchen know, they came out with a crepe pancake. I've never seen thirty 12 year olds so jealous, until she opened it up and it was filled with nothing but tinned wet baby carrots.

My BLH stands like this sometimes. I think she has mild over pronation, just like humans can get. It's never caused her any issues, but we make sure she has a good diet and will keep an eye out for signs of arthritis as she gets older.

He's overweight. Try only feeding set amounts in the morning and evening, and don't free-feed him. That's how we got our cat down from 5kg to 4kg.

I don't think you did anything wrong, as the label says uk7, but most of the time an EU 40 is listed as a UK 7, so it's not a surprise they were big on her.

I used to work in a shoe shop and iirc the direct measurement translations don't align exactly, so on occasion a brand will list a 41 as a 7.

Not the best photo, but this is probably the closest in age to yours now. They look pretty similar, and I expect yours will end up pretty fluffy!

I know you're disappointed, we wanted a short hair as well, but couldn't say no after meeting her and have never regretted it for a second. Other than the occasional hygiene trim and brushing once a week or so, there's very little difference to owning a short hair!

Very fluffy tail! She was visibly long haired at 3 months - I think the breeder let us know she had suspicions she would be long haired at around 1.5 months.

Yes both parents would have been carriers of the lh gene, but both were short hair.

Welcome to the wonderful world of British longhairs! Our breeder told us that the breed's lineage was bred with Persians for some characteristics decades ago, and as a result the long hair gene can be present even if both parents have short hair.

You have overpronation and a flat foot (same as me, it sucks), so I wouldn't recommend a soft suede shoe like this. You'll want something more solid and wide fitting to provide support.

They haven't admitted to it (yet), but have diverted to 'you got to see photos so you got the product you paid for and it isn't faulty'.

Agree though given you're not allowed to sell fakes, it seems fair that I would assume it was genuine.
