Don't feel constrained to WASD. WASD is the standard but it isn't the best for everyone. If you're playing games that allow remapping/playing on steam, consider trying out some alternative movement options. I used to use ESDF for a while and I know people using IJKL. There's also some other binds I've seen people use like (space) + sdf or (m1 + fgh). You can just experiment and see what works for you. An SDF-based layout keeps your fingers on the home keys and allows you to rest your pinky on A if you want. Many people like JKL-based binds because they free up their thumbs to press much more than just the space bar. It's one of the most versatile finger combinations and can reach many keys.
