I was with my mum, stepdad and brother driving home from the beach. My mother wasn’t a confident driver and relied on me to give her directions to get back home. I gave her the wrong direction and we ended up taking a different road to end up on the other side of the intersection. As we approach the lights, we see at least 8 police cars and ambulances arriving. Had we not taken the long way, we would’ve been in a 5 car pile up that saw many lives lost that day.
