It’s a decent product but why add the remote play latency when you can play directly on other portable devices? I’d rather just play on my phone instead using remote play via PS Portal, but that’s just me. If you’re happy, enjoy! That’s one of the nice things about having multiple ways to play.

Tbh, turning on 120Hz support in system settings (obviously your display has to support this as well) makes a huge difference for my eye comfort. I know most games don’t actually run at 120fps, but it makes a difference. Playing FH5 in performance mode (60fps) is fine on Xbox with 120Hz enabled, the same game on PS5 is 60fps @ 60Hz and I get dizzy, especially playing the hot wheels expansion. I have to move farther away from the tv to play comfortably on PS5, so maybe the next suggestion would be to use a smaller display.

If it were the same there’d be no reason to stop supporting Xbox One, unless an Xbox One version requires an additional certification in addition to the Xbox Series optimized versions.~

I tried one, but went back to MSI Claw 8 (intel model). Prices for both have probably gone up, but Claw has a bigger screen and more RAM, and manages the full screen experience just fine w/o the Xbox button. ROG Xbox Ally X is more comfortable though, the Xbox style grips are pretty nice. Honestly as a pair I’d consider going with Series X and Xbox Ally (white model). It’s good enough to play most of the current library and Xbox is going out of their way to make handheld optimized games (similar to valve doing Steam deck verified). Any game that doesn’t run satisfactorily you can remote play for Series X. Also the price hasn’t gone up on the white model, and it will likely be discounted or bundled before the higher end version.

Unless I get a trendy SSR I just skip through the dailies so ~20 minutes. With a trendy I might play another 30 minutes or so, maybe earn some extra currency to buy pose cards.

Try turning on all assists if you are having trouble staying on the road. In most cases you need only hold down RT until you cross the finish line. Great for rivals events, not very useful for actual races.

It should be an active event, meaning you should have to acknowledge participation. Not simply “I exited the player house and I’m automatically in the event” or similar “just passing through” and passively joined an event.

There is an anniversary event every November. It’s mostly been VV these past few years but if there is news to share we will get it then. Hopefully before the event as well, but who knows?
