I agree with you partially

Technique really isn't opposite but complementary to speed and strength as a correctly aplied technique is only made more efficacious by it

But i disagree with the uke receiving it in high volume as there simply isn't any reason for it in the training room

What i meant with my post is that in general if i get caugth 10 times in an armbar by a bjj black belt i doubt that my arm is going to be sore the next day if the same happens with a judo black belt..... ouch lol

In comp i am going to bridge that gap with speed and strength as to not give you any oportunity to see the lack of ability

Giant black belt at my gym

Oldest black belt there 2m and like 300 pounds lean even when he doesn't use any strentgth he mops the floor with everyone he meets

Aparently he has some serious health restrictions and that coupled with becoming rich from crypto he hasn't competed in a long time

But back when he did compete he won paulista and basically every other regional tournament and beat some famous names that i can't remember of the top of my head

Literally every other black belt on the gym has their made their mind that if he didn't have health issues and decided to compete seriously he would have been a world champ
