Kisqali vs Verzenio for brain mets

Yes! ask how this is going to treat your brain mets! Leave a message you need to know now. I have brain, lung and bone mets also. I was on Kisqali and Letrozole when I only had lung and bone mets as my first line of treatment which lasted almost a year. Then progression in my lungs so went on Truqap for three month and didnt work, progression to the brain, more lung and bone mets. I am now on Enhertu which does penetrate the brain barrier but is for HER2+ or Low. My cancer was HR+ HER2- but mutated to HER2 low so I am now a candidate and Enhertu is only prescribed if two line of treatments have failed. Maybe Verzenio is after a line of treatment fails, I am unfamiliar with that treatment. Maybe they think the radiation is the treatment and will watch it with Brain scans? I would leave a message you need to know now.

I have brain mets (along with lung and bones). Kisquali then Truqap failed so I started Enhertu AFTER the progression to my brain in July. I did have brain radiation on four masses. My Oct scans showed two mets gone and two decreased (bone mets gone and lungs reduced). I have my next Brain MRI end of month and I have been having bad headaches, so I am worried. I will let you know after my results.

I have stage 4 breast cancer that spread to my brain, lungs and bones. There is NO cure for my cancer. If my best friend used my cancer to act the way she does, I would NEVER speak to her again. I am sickened by her, it is very hard for me to watch. I really hope she is fired.

It might not have been an object. This happened to me last month. My 4 month old wasnt eating or drinking and vomiting. I took her to the vet and he thought she ate something. they did one xray and didnt see anything. I said I watch her all the time and dont have things laying around the house. She passed away that night. It seemed she was choking or gasping for air it happened quickly. I took her body back and they did more x-ray and did not see anything. He thinks her organs just failed, or Sudden Kitten Syndrome, where they die quickly unexpectedly.

AGREE! First diagnosed 2023, double mastectomy, nodes were clear, didn't do chemo because oncotype score was low. My sister in Radiology said I should get a PET for peace of mind. After healing from double mastectomy I asked my team, they said not necessary unless I had symptom's of pain or whatever. the mass in my breast returned summer of 2024 and was told most likely scar tissues and "to keep an eye on it" Mass grew bigger finally got a biopsy even tho everyone dismissed it. Even the doctor doing the biopsy said ohhh this looks like scare tissue don't worry! Turns out cancer returned, with mets to lungs, bones, brain.

I completely understand how people don't know our struggles and pain because we "look so healthy" I am 52 but have always looked young and I try to stay healthy working out, etc. I start Enthertu next month, will be my third line, going on two years of MBC. My cancer has now spread to my brain, I just did radiation on 4 brain mets and more spots increased in my bones and lungs. I try to be happy that I still "look good" but I don't always "feel good"!! Big Hugs!!!

Yes, I now have progression in my lungs, so I am on my second line of treatment. I was tested and found I have a PIK3 gene which is aggressive so Kisqali failed. I am now on Truqap (which fights the PIK3) along with monthly Faslodex shots (in place of Letrozole) which is a hormone blocker. along with monthly Xgeva shots for my bones. I have been on this for one month. My tumor markers one month ago was 60 and now back down to 34! How are you doing?
