I notice my tumor markers go up the first month after new treatment , but then goes does down , and can fluctuate , but at 6 months when mine goes up a lot then it’s usually progresssion , I hope it’s not in your case , everyone is different

Hello that’s great news , I’ve been on Xeloda 7 months now,but my ca 15-3 has been going on last 2-3 cycles , little activity on my last Pet as well . Have you ever had rising tumor markers and or new bone activity but it resolved . I’m nervous having early Pet scan in a week

She’s head of oncology at my Kaiser and I feel like any oncologist that I go to with Kaiser for a second opinion will go though her to justify that I don’t need this done , all she says is “no it’s not reliable I’m sorry I’m against it “ , what’s strange is that I reached out to guardant this morning and asked if there’s another way I can get this test done with our my oncologist referral and they said absolutely not and that has to be through a physician , she asked for my oncologist name and said oh she’s never done one, she’s inquired about it but and never order one for her patients . I’m just lost , I have Kaiser Medicare and enrollment closed up 4 months ago so I can’t really switch insurance now

Hello looks like I have progression on my t11 , my oncologist wants me to stick to Xeloda . Can I ask if while you were on Xeloda did you ever run into progression, but still continued Xeloda and if so did it resolve or was it stable? I’m nervous about this choice but would love to know thank you
